About Us

Ryan Creek Ranch is a horse farm near Owensboro Kentucky. As a horse farm we often attended horse auctions where we saw these adorable fuzzy little puppies being sold. Finally giving into desires to own one, we acquired our first Aussie. She was intelligent, enthusiastic, athletic, and above all loyal and devoted to us. Within a year we were hooked on the Australian Shepherd.

Our 42-acre farm is farm is home to Arabian performance horses and American Quarter horses, as well as Aussies. There is enough room for our Aussies to run and play. We provide a fenced in play yard for our young dogs.

Our breeding stock is cleared for heath issues for hip (OFA) and eyes (CERF). Puppies are sold as companion performance pets and are sold on a spay/neuter contract to homes that will provide forever homes with love and devotion to the puppy. We look for those special puppies to be shown as show prospects for conformation, obedience, rally, agility or herding dogs. We strive to produce puppies with exceptional temperaments and outstanding gene pools for the improvement of the breed.

We strive to produce puppies with exceptional genetics producing mentally sound and conformationally correct Aussies. Our puppies are sold with health guarantees ad life time support for the puppy.

Please complete a puppy questionnaire. We are interested in your answers in order to find the right puppy for you and the right home for our puppy. Deposits are recommended. Buyers are placed in pick order following those who have already made a deposit on a puppy.

Show potential puppies are exceptionally nice puppies with no disqualifying faults or hereditary defects. They are sold with registration from AKC and ASCA.

Companion/pet puppies are physically sound and make wonderful, loyal pets. They may have slight conformational flaws that prohibit them from being used for breeding or showing in the conformation ring. They are sold with a limited registration meaning that they are not to be used for breeding puppies. They are eligible to compete in all performance events such as rally, obedience, agility and .herding. These puppies are sold spay/neuter contract or limited registration.
