The Benefit of Choosing a Male Puppy
Many people when deciding on a puppy believe they desire a female puppy. Most who want a pet puppy want a little girl as they think females do not display behavior like marking or humping. They believe females are more sweet and docile. This is simply not the case.

In nature a dog pack is ruled by females. They determine the pecking order and they maintain order. The females are usually more independent, stubborn and territorial. Most fights will usually break out between two females.

Males on the other hand are usually more affectionate, exuberant, attentive and demanding of your attention. They are very attached to their family. They are less moody and are more reliable. They are outgoing and more accepting of other pets, and take to children more quickly. Training is easier as they are food and praise driven. They can be more easily distracted during training as they like to play. They can act silly and more puppy-like. Boys are fun loving until the day they die.

Once neutered around five months of age, boys usually don’t raise their leg to urinate or mark territory. When testosterone levels recede by neutering the negative behavior disappears. Females can be cunning and resourceful in getting her way. She is more prone to mood swings. When she has had enough of an activity she will leave you. A male will play until you say enough. Males are devoted, loving and devoted defender of you and your family. They remain faithful and devoted to you. They abound in unconditional love for you and have a love of life. Consider wisely what you are looking for in a puppy.
